Job mission

The Marketing Director, Accessories is responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of the Cartier Accessories Marketing Department in maintaining the brand's integrity and image. This position's key responsibilities and accountabilities lie in implementing the international product strategy and launch plan in the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Development of the Marketing short and long term strategy for Cartier's Accessories product category for both the American and Canadian markets.

Partner with Senior Marketing management in North America and HQ in the development of the annual Marketing strategic action plan and responsible for its implementation.

Define North America marketing strategy and launch plan based on objectives (growth/turnover of the category).

Develop regional strategic plan (3 year plan, business review, action plans & sales budget) for the acessories category.

Define and revise the global sales target (key contact for Finance department).

Coordinate the implementation through 360 degree plans with all departments and cross-functional teams (HQ & local), including: Commercial Strategy, CRM, PR, Media, Training, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Event, Client Experience, Finance).

Oversee and manage programs to drive sell-out in partnership with other departments and ensure a seamless flow of communication with all the Retail boutiques/network and Commercial Strategy.

Define and oversee implementation of product strategies (all product launches & activations).

Market and business analysis: Provides to local teams and HQ Marketing teams with analysis of competition activities (launches, prices, comms, etc.) and with Cartier results on the products side (in internal and external network).

Implements the pricing strategy in partnership with Business & Pricing Analyst.

Responsible for all new products, pricing and communication to Retail Division.

In depth understanding of the North American market and client needs in order to identify and propose to HQ marketing ideas for potential product development.

Manages Accessories Marketing team (1 Senior Product Manager, 1 Assistant Product Manager + temps/interns) and manage the Accessories marketing budget.


10+ years of experience in product/category management and marketing; strong knowledge of luxury and leather goods in North America a plus

Expertise and skills in building 360? marketing plans, product briefs, and managing time and action calendars

Excellent computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (especially in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) as well as PowerBI.

Strong attention to details and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Significant experience in people management.

Proactivity and initiative with regards to project management.
